Contemporary Ballet, Scandinavian Kulning, Bluegrass and Old-time Music come together in Chamber Dance Project’s Ramblin’ [VIDEO PREVIEW]

Washington, D.C.-based contemporary ballet company Chamber Dance Project presents its annual summer season this June 27-29. The production entitled Ramblin’, at downtown Washington, D.C.’s Sydney Harman Hall will feature Tony Award®-winning band The Red Clay Ramblers playing live, a world premiere ballet, a Washington premiere, along with reprises of two company favorites.

Led by artistic director and choreographer Diane Coburn Bruning, Chamber Dance Project is in its twelfth season in Washington. A company of professional dancers and musicians dedicated to the partnership of ballet and live music in an intimate setting, this season CDP will highlight the talents of dancers from Atlanta Ballet, BalletMet, Cincinnati Ballet, and more, along with its stellar string quartet.
