DANCEVERT to hold benefit dance party

(Cleveland, Ohio)- DANCEVERT presents Geometry In Motion, a benefit dance party March 16 at 7:30 PM to support the newly titled work and educational program at the All About Dancin’, ballroom located at 2155 Freeman Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 (Just South of the West side Market in Ohio City).

DANCEVERT returns with new arts-integrated programming which has resulted in unprecedented success with the Partners in Education program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and with Facing East Music Productions in Washington D.C.

The benefit will support the Ohio launching of the new professional choreographic work and educational program, which will include a welcome introduction and presentation of “Geometry In Motion.” The benefit dance party will also include, a drink, Latin Dance lesson by Susana Weingarten, and music by DJ Umberto Amante.

Tickets are $25 at the door.

DANCEVERT was founded as The Tom Evert Dance Company, a 501(c) 3 corporation in 1986 in Cleveland, OH under the leadership of acclaimed dance artists Tom Evert (former member of New York’s Paul Taylor Dance Company) and Susana Weingarten (former member of Ballet Independiente de Mexico). The company has performed for audiences throughout the world to critical praise and is well known for its significant leadership throughout the state of Ohio and beyond with arts-integrated education through residencies in schools and communities.
